TRIMUI Smart Pro S Firmware Update
We received feedback from users on game launch issues due to firmware upgrades or mixing system cards between models. Review information to prevent improper operations.
Firmware Update Release(TRIMUI Smart Pro S-TG5050)
1.Firmware version: 1.0.1 - 20251218
- Fixed main UI navigation issue, some items could not be focused when returning from games.
- Modified internal emmc HOME partition to ext4, fixed Apps/ports save state issue.
- Chinese language auto switch when detecting the Chinese TF card for the first insertion. (Apps/user_guide_cn)
- Fixed unexpected screen rotation when using non-1280x720 resolutions in SDL2.
- Added savestate date/time in RetroArch trimui menu save/load page.
- Fixed video player hang and crashed screen when exit from playing some videos with special audio format.
- Fixed video player hang when 'Fast Forward' with bluetooth audio connected.
2.Fixes for some Pro S issues
Operation Steps:
1. Find a second free SD card to create a recovery card. The creation process will erase and destroy all data on the card.
Note: Do not use your own memory card.
2. Use any SD/hard drive/USB flash drive image writing tool, such as win32DiskImager, Etcher, WinImage,to write the image sd_recovery_tg5050_smart_pro_S_x.x.x_xxxxxxxx.img to the SD card to obtain a recovery card.
3.Unplug the power cord and shut down the device normally. (If the device is in a bricked state and you're unsure whether it has been turned off, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to ensure the machine is powered off, then release the button.) Insert the recovery card, plug in the power, and do not press any buttons. Wait for approximately 10 seconds, and the device will automatically enter recovery mode, displaying a green progress bar. Once the green progress bar disappears, the update will be complete. After the update finishes, the machine will automatically shut down.
4.Remove the recovery card, insert your own content card, and power on.
5.For SD cards that have been used to create recovery cards, please use PhoenixCard tools to erase the boot portion and restore the partition to normal.
